Newtec Windows is a window and door manufacturer located in Chicago and has been in business for over 11 years. We manufacture high quality vinyl windows and doors, aluminum windows and aluminum storefront and curtain wall systems. We sell factory direct to general contractors and sub-contractors for multi-family residential, medical and office facilities in the Chicagoland area. We are seeking a sales representative to support and grow our commercial window business.

Newtec Windows has a unique position in the Chicago area as the only local manufacturer of vinyl windows servicing the commercial marketplace. We have been undergoing double digit growth for the last four years and are looking to expand. For an energetic self-starter with knowledge of construction the potential is unlimited.
Calls on General Contractors and Architects to promote and sell Newtec Products; specifically Division 8 – Windows and Doors. Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry.
Works with specifiers and estimators to position Newtec and obtain project commitments.
Prepares quote and bid documents by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
Negotiates contracts for project work.
Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers.
Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions, performance improvements and energy savings.
Monitors ongoing projects, handling change orders and service calls, and provides jobsite support to the general contractor, installers and owners.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports;negotiating with customers;making recommendations to management.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction products required, including the ability to read and understand plans and specifications. Commercial window sales experience will be a distinct advantage for any candidate.
Must also be able to cultivate relationships with contractors, developers, architects and installers. This will include making cold calls, attending trade shows, and participating in professional organizations.
